Letters float in the soup, but no word is given — you think one up yourself. Type a word using only letters you can see in the bowl: each letter you type lights up, and a letter that isn’t there is not accepted and lowers your accuracy. Press Enter to make the word. If it is in the dictionary, its letters disappear; if not, they go back into the soup with no penalty. Backspace puts the last letter back. “Findable” shows how many words the bowl still hides. Long words with rare letters score the most — but they use up letters that shorter words needed, so choose. Bowl: 3 minutes; when a bowl has no words left, a new one is served, and Enter with nothing typed also brings a new bowl. Simmer: no clock, but a new letter drips in every few seconds, faster and faster — if 20 letters pile up, the soup boils over.
