You see a word and a picture — type the same word in the language on the badge and press Enter. Accents are optional: the answer counts without them, but typing them earns a bonus. Chinese and Japanese are typed in pinyin or romaji. Don’t know the word? Press Tab: the answer appears, you type it once, and the card comes back a little later. Flashcards: pick one language to learn — 12 cards, no clock, and the words you missed before come first. Language sprint: pick two or more languages — the language changes every round, and you have 60 seconds. Both modes fill the same word matrix: a green square is a word you know.
