A hockey face-off against a rival. The referee holds the puck — wait. After a random pause the puck drops and a short word appears: whoever finishes typing it first wins the puck. Press a key while the puck is still in the referee’s hand, or faster than anyone could read the word, and it is a false start — the puck goes to the rival. A wrong key does not lose the face-off, but the word starts over from the beginning. Match mode is three periods of seven face-offs each: win more than the rival. Overtime ends after three lost face-offs, and the rival gets quicker with every face-off you win.
